Call of Cthulhu!
Details
This Sunday, I'd like to get some stalwart investigators together to solve a mystery of unspeakable horror.
The game is Call of Cthulhu, one of the oldest tabletop role-playing games that isn't Dungeons & Dragons. Set in New England during the Roaring 20's, you'll play as an investigator trying to get to the truth of a strange series of disappearances in the woods. We'll be playing the latest edition (7th). The game is fast, intuitive, and fun, perfect for veteran RPG'ers and newbies alike.
The venue is the community room at Auburn Village, 101 E. Glebe Rd. We'll begin at 12pm and conclude probably around 5pm (maybe earlier). We'll play through lunch, so you may want to bring some snacks. Other things you could consider bringing include:
-The Call of Cthulhu Investigator's Guide (it's only available in pdf, so you'll need to bring a tablet or laptop)
-Pencils
-Investigator sheets (I'll have some, but the more the merrier!)
-Dice (D&D-style roleplaying dice, particularly ten-siders)
If you have any questions, let me know. I hope to see you Sunday!
