Pet First Aid & CPR Class 07/19/25

First Aid and CPR training is one of the things we hope we never have to use, but when the time comes, we are grateful for the potentially life-saving knowledge it provides.

This course will equip you with the skills you need to stabilize and transport your animal to a veterinarian in the event of a medical emergency.

Aaron is a certified Pet First Aid and CPR instructor through ProPet Hero and covers both dog and cat First Aid and CPR. By the end of this class, you’ll acquire comprehensive knowledge and be certified in these essential skills.

This course is an excellent choice for pet owners and pet professionals a like.

• Learn pet first aid/CPR and how to be a pet detective
• Safety concerns for handling injured/ill pets and muzzling/restraint techniques
• CPR/rescue breathing techniques
• Treating bleeding and wounds
• How to handle bloat, vomiting, seizures, and choking
• Signs and handling of heat stroke and hypothermia
• How to treat burns and broken bones
• Potential poison information (foods, insects, medicine)
• Head-to-tail wellness check
