How to use LinkedIn to drive Business
Details
It is not what you know, but who you know. For small businesses and start-ups, this means that a strong value proposition is necessary, but never sufficient. Among other things, you have to identify and develop strong ties with your audience. This audience is made up of both those who need your help and those who help you get there.
While there is no single magic bullet, people are increasingly turning to LinkedIn to build those connections and the network. This is true for all businesses, large or small, whether starting up or mature. 94% of B2B marketers in North America use LinkedIn for product launches. But there is still a lot of room to grow. Only 17% of small businesses reported using LinkedIn in 2014. When you consider that against a Hubspot report that LinkedIn generates 277% more leads than Twitter or Facebook, you know that there is a goldmine in there.
So in this workshop you would discover how to take advantage of the platform beyond creating a LinkedIn profile, making some connections and joining some LinkedIn groups. That would let you decide how to use LinkedIn to drive growth for your business.
By the end of the workshop you would have an overview of how to do the following using LinkedIn as your tool:
- Research your Market
- Establish your Brand
- Extend your Reach
- Leverage your Network
- Prepare to go Offline
(Please note that this is not a workshop where we would be focusing only on building up a profile. It is not also one for job seekers. We would also not discuss specific LinkedIn platforms like the LinkedIn Sales Navigator.)
