Storytelling - Go Beyond the Slides

Details
Having great content is one thing, but truly captivating your audience is another. This event is for anyone who wants to take their presentations to the next level by mastering the art of non-verbal communication, the craft of storytelling, and the subtle secrets that turn a good talk into an unforgettable one. It's time to learn what really happens behind the scenes and how to deliver a message that is not just heard, but felt.
1. Maciej Król - Let your body speak your mind – the nonverbal ways of enhancing your presentations.
Presentations in front of live audiences are tough – and let’s be honest – pretty stressful, right? I know you agree. You wouldn’t be here if that wasn’t the case.
The content? That’s the easy part. We build slides, add some animations, and voilà – crispy clean PowerPoint! But then…we have to go out there and actually deliver it. And suddenly, words don’t come easy.
What happens then? We freeze. We rush. We tense up. We try to fill the silence with something. Does it help? Sometimes. Does it look good? Well…not really. Here’s the thing: How we move, how we speak, how we act – these things often speak louder than words.
They can enhance our message…or undermine it. In this talk, we’ll explore how nonverbal communication can bring more life to your presentations. Let’s make your message not just heard – but felt.

2. Jan Mazurek "The Art of Advanced Presentation" - adding that extra flavor to already good presentation
What makes a great presentation stand out? What is the X-factor that can be added on top, that can turn a solid presentation into a masterpiece? And why putting in the "Thank you" slide is one of the worst ideas you can ever imagine?
Well, if you are curious for any of the above questions then I got an answer for you. Join me to see what is the differentiating element that can transition your presentation and help you win over the audience with the message that will stick with them even after your talk is already finished.ations, especially regarding employee adaptation towards change.

3. Paweł Wużyk - Storytelling: an art or a craft? Reflections of a practitioner.
Are you born a great speaker, or do you become one? Does the story roll effortlessly off the tongue—or is it blood, sweat, and rewrites? What really happens behind the scenes, before the room goes quiet and the story begins? Welcome to the kitchen—where the ideas simmer, the metaphors get chopped, and not everything ends up on the plate. In this session, I’ll share what I’ve learned (and unlearned) about storytelling—not as a theory, but as a practice shaped by trial, error, and the occasional burnt toast.
About Paweł: I am a control enthusiast and emotionally allergic to disorder—driven by a deep need to align, industrialize, and engineer teams, processes, and systems into coherent delivery organizations. With over 30 years of experience across chemical engineering, IT, and organizational transformation, I bring a unique blend of technical depth, strategic insight, and operational discipline. I thrive in structured environments and long-term engagements yet embracing curiosity and love of learning I remain adaptable and creative when needed. My approach is rooted in reflective processing, obsessive communication, and a commitment to clarity, alignment, and purposeful execution. Currently serving as a leader of 2000 experts in the ABB Business Services Hub in Krakow.
