Biweekly Coffee & Pastry
Details
Bring your favourite writing tools - laptop, tablet, notebook, post-its, whatever works for you - and get your write on! We try to limit chat to 15-20mins to catch up on how our writing's been going over the last week, and then get down to business. That's not set in stone, though, and we'll often break at unscheduled times to help each other brainstorm through a problem!
While there's no one who understands the need to talk through your plot holes or indecision on where to take a scene or character better than other writers, do come prepared to do some work. Unfortunately, Amarti doesn't allow for reserving a table, so we aren't guaranteed to get one close to a plug-in. We usually manage it, but try to arrive with a full charge on your battery if you use an electronic device to write with.
This is not the place or time to bring up current politics, religion, or other controversial topics unless it's a specific exploration of your project's theme. Leave that for your social media.
