## Meet the people behind Toastmasters Tag Berlin!
Three years ago, we came together to celebrate what would have been the 100th birthday of Ralph C. Smedley, the founder of Toastmasters. What began as a special autumn gathering has grown into Toastmasters Tag Berlin — now in its third year.
At three, we're officially toddlers. Curious, energetic, full of ideas — and already bringing together quite a crowd!
Behind the event is a team of 18 volunteer organizers, with Friederike Galland, Sandra Willgos and Thorsten Beckers at its heart, supported by more than 60 helpers.
We're speakers, coaches, trainers, Toastmasters, and friends. We bring our time, expertise and enthusiasm to create an outstanding event — simply because we love helping people grow and bringing people together.
And we share one rather big conviction: better communication is the answer to almost everything. It helps people understand one another, solve problems, share ideas and make things happen.
We don't just organise the event. We buy our own tickets at the regular price, just like everyone else. No free passes, no special treatment — we're here because we believe in what we're creating.
We're three years old. And we're only just getting started.
