Using the OpenAI API

To kick things off, I'll start with a quick introduction to the Aberdeen Developer Group — what it's about, what we’re aiming to build, and how you can get involved.

After that, we'll take a look at how we can add OpenAI into your applications. We'll look at how how to connect to the OpenAI API and use it to generate text, create images, and even turn AI-generated text into spoken audio with text-to-speech (TTS). We'll walk through practical examples and patterns you can use to add smart, creative features to your apps — and hopefully get a good discussion about how we can use these AI tools in our apps.
