Haddo House Walk & Picnic / Tearoom - 6km

This lovely walk will take you through the Haddo House Estate and finish up with a wee picnic or tearoom visit (weather will decide).

🥾 Route - We will start at the car park - meet at the car park benches. This walk will take you through the Haddo House Estate going past the house itself with a wee walk round the back of the house through the gardens and past the old chapel. Up through the forest, down round the lake and up the hill towards the viewing point then back down and round past the camping grounds and to the car park again. Haddo is a beautiful estate and there are loads of photos online to view on the NTS website.

ℹ️ Fitness - this walk is suitable for low level fitness and is fairly flat. The distance is not too long.

🥪 Lunch - let’s finish with a picnic so bring a blanket and picnic supplies. If the weather is forecast for rain we can grab some tea and cake in the cafe. I’ll post in the comments closer to the time.

✅ Recommended - good footwear, waterproofs etc. Water and a snack.

🅿️ Parking - there are plenty of parking spaces at Haddo. Bring money for parking if you are not a NTS member.

🚻 Toilets - there are good toilets next to the NTS shop.

You can also arrange for a booking onto the house tours if you want to but please organise this yourself.
