Striving to be an innovative fashion- and tech-company, our objective is to shape the future of fashion eCommerce by creating a unique and personalized shopping experience for a young and digital target group. Our technology and business platform, which was developed in-house, transfers the classic window-shopping experience to the Internet.
Around one third of the ABOUT YOU staff are developers (150 out of 450 employees), who code state-of-the-art with amongst others PHP, Laravel, Git, Bitbucket, Jira and AWS.
Because of its strong growth, the company needed to find a new framework, how to organize its teams, projects and resources efficiently. Therefore, ABOUT YOU introduced a new organizational model called MOVE, which recently won the Xing New Work Award in the category „Young Companies“.
In 2017, ABOUT YOU launched the first enterprise ready API solution for large scale eCommerce retailers, who want to scale their business with the proven infrastructure: The ABOUT YOU CLOUD. The first tech product of the bulletproof cloud-solution called BACKBONE is the company’s own eCommerce backend, which was built in-house and has proven itself within the last years.
