After more than two years we're back with a new name and a new event + some BBQ and booze, so read on ;)

TL;DR; Go buy a ticket => https://www.entrio.hr/event/global-azure-2022-zagreb-azure-pulumi-workshop-11184

Some boring stuff about the event

The new name is Cloudless Zagreb which reflects a change of "focus" onto a much wider array of topics than just serverless ones as during 2019.

The new event is a local instance of the Global Azure worldwide events.

This year we'll skip hosting a bunch of talks, and instead we'll focus on a single topic - a workshop on how to handle the infrastructure as code on Azure the proper way.

A workshop consisting of 5 parts will be delivered by Paul Stack - a guy who helped build Terraform with all of its up and down sides, and got a chance to have another go at the topic so he helped and still is building Pulumi - the next gen Infrastructure as Code solution.

The important stuff starts here

N.B. we're moving the location to Brezovica so that everyone can get a bit of fresh air, calming green scenery, but also so that we can fire up a grill and make some bbq (booze included).

The schedule
09:00 - 10:00 - registration + coffee + something to bite
10:00 - 10:45 - 1st slot: What is Pulumi - general intro to what Pulumi is and how it is different
10:45 - 11:00 - break
11:00 - 11:45 - 2nd slot: Pulumi and Azure - whistle stop tour of Pulumi's capabilities with Azure
11:45 - 13:00 - bbq & booze :)
13:00 - 13:45 - 3rd slot: Application build + deployment with Azure Container Apps
13:45 - 14:00 - break
14:00 - 14:45 - 4th slot: CI/CD pipelines for Pulumi
14:45 - 15:00 - break
15:00 - 15:45 - 5th slot: Policy as Code with Pulumi
15:45 - 17:00 - bbq & booze leftovers or we might just do another round of grilling

The man in charge of staying true to the schedule
Paul Stack

Engineering Manager @ Pulumi
Paul Stack is an infrastructure coder and has spoken at various events throughout the world about his passion for continuous integration, continuous delivery and good operational procedures and why they should be part of what developers and system administrators do on a day to day basis. He believes that reliably delivering software is more important as its development. Paul’s passions are the DevOps and Continuous Delivery movements and how they help the entire business and its customers.

The $$$ stuff

Since at the end of the day someone has to pay for the venue, food, booze, equipment, etc and the no-show rate for free events can be 30-60% you'll have to buy a ticket for the event.

In case 150 kn (VAT included) is too much for your budget please opt for the student ticket (50 kn with VAT included) and enter a reason for us to approve it.
