Come on down to learn the key skills required to climb safely without the need for an instructor.
We will be covering some key skills as you will see in the following section.
- Safety in a climbing wall
- Introduction to equipment
- Rope handling techniques and climbing knots
- Belaying and tying into a rope
- Bouldering and spotting
- Movement and techniques
- Communicating with a partner
- Climbing grading system

Pre-Requisite: No prior climbing experience required. Available to over 16s only
Duration: 2 Hours
Number of Students: Up to 4 Per Instructor

Event will be indoors
As we will be in an indoor setting, we will ask you to keep masks on when learning the skills and in any common areas. You may take your mask off while climbing in you prefer, once we put it back on when on the ground.
As standard centre policies they often ask guests for a covid cert to ensure the safety or those inside.
