(Free) Bark in the Park

Looking for an easy way to help your doggo socialize, burn off some energy, and make a few new furry friends? Then come join us for a laid-back morning of off-leash fun!

Expect plenty of zoomies, ball chasing, triumphant stick parading, butt sniffing, and the occasional enthusiastic barking session — all in a safe, welcoming environment for pups and their humans alike.

Vista Del Norte's Dog Park recently opened sporting two very large separate enclosures for different-sized dogs (<25 lbs and all weights), water fountains for thirsty pups, and the broader park has tree shaded seating for humans to relax and chat.

Whether your dog is a social butterfly or just warming up to new friends, we hope they'll enjoy this great space to play at their own pace - and hey - you might make a new human friend or two while you're at it, too!

Afterward, attendees are encouraged to self-organize a post-play hangout (dogs on leash) at a nearby dog-friendly patio for food and drinks. We recommend Vic's Cafe (next door) or Craft Republic (5 min drive), but a bit further out you'll also find Canteen Brewhouse, El Pinto, and Tin Can Alley.

FAQs:
1. No dog? No problem. Dog lovers are always welcome - come hang and enjoy in the chaos!
2. Running late? No stress. Drop in whenever works, even if just for the post-event food/drinks!
3. Dog limit? Maximum of two dogs, per adult human.
4. Dog safety? All pups should be fully vaccinated, friendly, non-aggressive toward other dogs & people, and responsive to verbal commands while off-leash.
