What we’re about
The intention of this group is to foster friendship and networking ties with other likeminded people who - outside of party politics - believe in working to restore the American republic to its Constitutional foundations. Group members may meet in casual social settings (coffee, beers, hiking, meals, etc.) to exchange ideas in person and build friendships amid a sometimes hostile environment that, sadly, finds the America First goals abhorrent.
Those philosophical foundation of members of our group are very well outlined in the 5 pillars of MAGA:
- AMERICA FIRST - ensuring that the our nation’s wealth and attention is focused on enriching our citizens and NOT foreign nations
- SECURE BORDERS - the fundamental essence of a nation is based in ensuring that those who enter it do so in a regulated and controlled way. Maintaining our nations borders and controlling the quantity of people coming across it is vitally important
- NO POINTLESS WARS - the entire 21st century has been a near continuous engagement of a vastly bloated military engaged in wars and skirmishes that do not serve the citizenry but enrich a small corporate minority that has grown fat on violence abroad that unnecessarily risks the lives of our men and women in uniform and murders untold numbers of innocent civilians - making America hated by many
- REAL JOBS - REAL ECONOMY - The American economy has been deliberately hollowed out by corporations and banks whose allegiances are not aligned with the citizenry. MAGA seeks to restore jobs engaged in productively making things by and for our own nation
- FREE SPEECH - Perhaps the absolute most important pillar of MAGA is the preservation of our 1st Amendment rights that abhor the silencing of the citizenry by both government and government-induced corporate censorship. Without the ability to exchange ideas, the Republic is lost
