New Mexico State Poetry Society--Albuquerque Chapter Meeting

We begin the new year with Bruce Noll presenting "The Orality of Poetry," a workshop in which participants will explore the sounds of words, ways to enhance the reading of poetry to an audience, and "performance" considerations. Bruce Noll has many years of experience in teaching college level oral interpretation and speech. For the past six years he has taught a course in UNM's Honor College entitled, "The Orality of Poetry," so he's bringing years of experience to this program. He has also brought Whitman's Leaves of Grass to audience across the US and abroad through his program, PURE GRASS...an experience with Whitman's Leaves.
