The Albuquerque Game Developers Workshop Series continues with Johnnemann Nordhagen presenting Paths to Success in the Games Industry. Along with his presentation he will be available to look over resumes, portfolios, and game pitches!
Johnnemann is the founder of Dim Bulb Games, developer of the award-winning Where the Water Tastes Like Wine. Previously he worked at The Fullbright Company on Gone Home, 2K Games on the BioShock series, and Sony Playstation's Research and Development department. He also founded Gamenest, a community and co-working space for indie devs in San Francisco. He will discuss his experiences across AAA and indie game development, and offer advice on breaking in to the industry, pursuing a commercial independent development career, and the differences between the two.
