La Salita fundraiser for Santuario de Karuna Aug 3

La Salita Restaurant is donating a portion of all vegan sales to Santuario de Karuna all month long in August!

So let's have a meetup there on Thursday, August 3 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm!

They have tons of vegan options including Vevan vegan cheese and Impossible crumbles, Tindle chikn & Just Egg. They can make vegan tacos, burritos, stuffed sopapillas, enchiladas, nachos, frito pie, etc. Plus they have vegan avocado chile rellonos & even Vegan Huevos Rancheros. Their sopapillas are vegan also (ask for the cinnamon sugar shaker). Their sides of whole beans, refried beans, rice, fried potatoes & french fries are vegan too. In addition, they have a vegan chocolate cheesecake that is sooo yummy!

HUEVOS RANCHEROS VEGANOS....Only $7 on Thursdays. Consists of scrambled Justegg served on top of a tortilla (flour, corn, or blue corn) with your choice of chile - Christmas, Red, or Green, two sides, garnish, and shredded vevan vegan cheese.
Make it GF by getting Corn tortillas since chile, justegg and vevan cheese are GF.

Can also just order bean & vegan cheese or guacamole & vegan cheese tacos if like to keep it simple.

La Salita is also participating in the Albuquerque Vegan Chef Challenge that also starts Aug 1.
