Climbing to the top of Google, Part 3 -- Connecting your site for enhanced SEO

A few months ago we covered the technical side of on-site SEO, and last month we had SEO/copywriting expert Jenny Munn in to help us dig into keyword research. During those last two sessions we discussed a variety of third-party tools to connect to your blog, such as:

Google Analytics Google Webmaster Tools Authorship, via Google+ Various SEO plug-ins This month we'll tackle those and help you get them set up. We'll do them individually -- using the projector to show what they do and why they're useful, then helping you set them up on your blog right then and there! We can also revisit any areas from the last few sessions that you're still unsure about. Note that attendance at the past few sessions is not a prerequisite; even if this is your first time coming, we'll have good information for you.

As always, this is a discussion, so please come prepared to share your questions and ideas regarding SEO, as well as any other WordPress questions you might have.

The cost of the Meetup covers our cost for the meeting space, but you're welcome to pay at the door. However, please RSVP so we can save a space for you.

We'll have a 20-30 minute discussion of the monthly topic, after which we'll learn from each other and help troubleshoot our collective problems. Be sure to bring your laptop if possible, and you're welcome to bring your lunch if you'd like.
