Kafka Tutorial Study Hall Title:
Observability for Apache Kafka® Clients to Confluent Cloud

Abstract:
In this workshop we will use the Observability for Apache Kafka® Client to Confluent Cloud Tutorial tutorial to showcase various scenarios. We will create a Confluent Cloud cluster, run Java applications to produce data to the cluster, and run Java applications to read data from the cluster. We will use a time-series database Prometheus to store client metrics and Confluent Cloud metrics, then display that data using a visualization software Grafana. Lastly we will step through various scenarios failure scenarios, hitting usage limits, etc to see how the applications are impacted and how the dashboards reflect the scenario so you can learn what to look for.
