About us
To promote, protect, and advance the Python programming language, and to support and facilitate the growth of a diverse and international community of Python programmers.
Python Abuja Code of Conduct
Python Abuja is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free environment for everyone, regardless of background, identity, experience level, or ability.
All members, attendees, speakers, organizers, volunteers, and sponsors are expected to treat one another with respect and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abusive behavior, or other conduct that makes participants feel unsafe or unwelcome will not be tolerated.
Participants should communicate respectfully, respect personal boundaries, and contribute to an environment that supports learning, collaboration, and participation in the Python and open-source community.
Reporting a Code of Conduct concern:
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior at a Python Abuja event or within our community, please report it privately to the Python Abuja organizers through Meetup's Contact organizers feature. Reports will be handled as confidentially as reasonably possible and reviewed promptly by the organizing team. Appropriate action may include a warning, removal from an event, or removal from the community.
Python Abuja also supports the principles of the Python Software Foundation Code of Conduct: https://policies.python.org/python.org/code-of-conduct/
