The first ADU laws were enacted in the State of California in January 2017. Thus far there have been thousands of permits already pulled, projects completed, projects in progress and projects in planning. But there are still many questions going unanswered. Our mission is to help our guests fill in those blanks.
Our Meet Ups will be a fast paced one hour, weekly meeting about the Accessory Dwelling Industry. It is not a formalized presentation, seminar or sales pitch. It is strictly a Q/A.
Our guests will be the center of our universe and our revolving panel of experts will do their best to answer your questions. Or we will go the distance to find you the answers.
We will choose a subject every month and you can ask us questions about the subject. Or feel free to ask questions off topic as well. This is a very casual and relaxing meeting so bring your brown bag and bev and kick back. Or just pop in with a quick question and pop out. We know you're busy.
We will try to cover all the bases about your BACKYARD HOME from selecting the type, style, design, size, method of construction, site development, utilities, permitting, financing, etc. We are also happy to discuss any topics our guests wish us to elaborate on.
We also encourage any guests who may wish to participate and contribute to any of our subjects to email us with any/all details including photos, videos, graphs, charts and brief overview of what you'd like to share.
