This Assessment will take place in Kolob, UT as part of the Guide/Leader/Aspirant Rendezvous.

To become a L5 / Canyon Leader in the ACA you must pass the Canyon Leader assessment. Your skills, training, etc can be from any place or any classes you have taken. Bottom line is you need to pass the ACA assessment. It is a comprehensive assessment of the ACA skills checklists (Core, Aspirant, ACL, CL) and in canyon assessment.

TAKE NOTE- the skill checklists have been updated so make sure you have the current one which is located here: ACA Checklists
There will be a written exam, swim test, and in-canyon assessment in addition to assessing your skills.

THIS IS NOT A WORKSHOP, meaning you should have a good understanding and know how to apply your skills already. You have some time to prepare and if you have questions or need clarification, please contact the assessment host.

RATE: $280 Per Person. Includes GLAR Fee, Tax and Meetup processing fees. Does not include PayPal processing fees.

PAYMENT POLICY:
Payments are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable. No exceptions.
Refunds are only processed if event is cancelled.

TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation to/from training areas is NOT provided.

WEATHER:
The weather on Kolob Mt. can change quickly whether before the course or during it. We expect that you come prepared with rain jacket/gear.
