Late July in Washington DC

Am heading back to Washington DC in late July if anyone wants to come along. Washington ( http://washington.org ) is hot this time of year The date above is a planing date for July in DC. Please indicate your interest and potential travel dates. For planning purposes airfare is about £700-800 this time of year and accommodations vary. I would recommend staying further out and traveling into DC by Metro train (subway system). Plan on USD$80/pppn unless we book a house share for a week or two.

This is my hometown so I can be your free tour guide. You need about a week to get a good taste of DC and going up to New York or Philadelphia is also an option for a second week in the US. We can try to book a package if we have sufficient interest. Some interesting things to do in Northern VA outside the city include civil war battlefields, shooting ranges, white water rafting, and amusement parks; all day trips away.
