August 5, 2014: SUMMER POTLUCK!!!

It's time for the summer picnic! The shelter house on the rear of the church property will be ours for the evening beginning at 5:00. Come and knit and bring a dish! Unfortunately, there is no electricity at the shelter.

No problem if you can't get there at 5:00...just come at the normal meeting time of 7:00. We all know what it's like if you combine knitting with food. We will be there for a while!

Most importantly, let's celebrate our charity knitting at this event. Bring your hats, Mother Bears, Prayer Shawls, lap blankets, any and everything that you have done for charity knitting. If you have already sent your items on, bring a picture or a description. Let's also show and tell each other what we have been working on this year.

If the weather does not cooperate, we will meet in our normal meeting room.

Normal meeting would start at 7:00, but this event will begin at 5:00 for those that come early. See the rest of you whenever you get there (including me).
