Walter: A GenAI-Integrated Second Reader for Academic Assessment
This session will demonstrate how Walter (Beta v2) provides assessment professionals with a fast, secure, zero-data-retention GenAI tool capable of scoring student work in seconds. Attendees will see how Walter reduces scoring drudgery, improves inter-rater consistency, and frees faculty to focus on interpretation and continuous improvement.
The demo will highlight how institutions can use Walter as a reliable "second reader" to support accreditation expectations and streamline evidence collection. Participants will leave with concrete strategies for integrating Walter into existing workflows with minimal disruption.
