What we’re about
This is a Lafayette based polyamory discussion/social/support group for anyone (over the age of 18) who identifies as poly or is interested in poly. This includes couples, triads, quads, singles, and all orientations. We will meet locally to share ideas, tips, difficulties and problems encountered, relating to poly. We will learn about poly from people who have been living the lifestyle. We will support each other through the rough patches experienced. You will find here a social outlet with like minded people, keeping in mind that not everyone has the same idea of what a poly relationship should look like. Poly people tend to not only have cool views on relationships, but on life in general. This group will be mind-expanding. You will meet people you can openly talk to about your multiple partners who won't think you're weird (or at least not weird just because you have or desire multiple partners.)
What this group is NOT:
1. A pick up club-do not plan to come here specifically to meet potential partners.
2. A sex/swing club-poly groups are not a ruse for a sex group. Poly is not a fancy word for swinging or casual sex.
3. Exclusionary-this group is open to anyone interested in healthy polyamory, over the age of 18, but due to the need for confidentiality and security, you must attend a meet and greet with a group leader for an invitation to attend the private local discussions. The primary confidentiality rule is 'What is said here, stays here'.
