Men of the New York State Capital District with a desire to sing in an accomplished chorus are invited to join the chorus and take advantage of our excellent leadership and instruction. The Electric City Chorus is a men’s a cappella vocal music group singing in the Barbershop Style. We strive to sing at the highest quality, to entertain, and to experience great fellowship and enjoyment.

You do not have to be a great singer; you just need to be a guy who likes to sing, and willing to learn. You do not have to be able to sing your part alone; you will be singing with the chorus. If you have ever sung in the shower or found yourself singing along with the music on the radio, chances are you will enjoy singing with us. If you are a little nervous about the whole idea, bring a friend along for moral (and vocal) support!

Visit one of our rehearsals and check us out. You won't be pressured to join, but you will have a lot of fun singing with us.

The ECC meets every Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Schenectady Light Opera's Performing Arts Center (enter at 418 Liberty Street in Schenectady), unless we are out singing somewhere in the community. The Electric City Chorus is a member of the international barbershop organization, the Barbershop Harmony Society, in the Northeast District (NED).

The ECC sings at many community venues in all seasons of the year. In addition, the chorus periodically competes and sings with other choruses in the northeast section of the United States and eastern Canada.

Racing City Chorus is a men's singing organization, who meet regularly to practice, perform, socialize, and have fun. We currently have over 30 singers of all walks of life, and all parts of the Saratoga Springs area. Visit us at any Tuesday evening rehearsal, or at www.racingcitychorus.org
