Join us for a mesmerising evening of mystic music including songs from the Sufi and Bhakti traditions. Devotional music can be a doorway to open the heart and connect with the divine. During this evening singer- musicians Ruhiya and John Walklate, will take you on a journey through devotional songs, inviting you to join in with your heart and soul.

About Ruhiya: Singer-songwriter and sound healing practitioner, Ruhiya, was raised as a Quaker in Herefordshire. Immersed in the Sufi tradition for nearly a decade, her soulful vocals express divine love and sacred remembrance. Ruhiya's music weaves together folk, soul, world and chant, in search of the ancient voice, and in celebration of the place where the two seas meet.

About John Walklate: John is a singer and guitarist from Staffordshire who creates Eastern inspired soundscapes with his acoustic guitar and leads devotional chants from the Bhakti yoga and Sufi traditions. John’s music has been described as rustic, soulful and evocative, a voice that ‘rings with devotion’, with comparisons made to artists as diverse as Krishna Das and Estas Tonne.
