WESTCHESTER COUNTY LAUNCH1000 PROGRAM
Details
Westchester County is providing this program in response to the significant economic disruption we have experienced since 2020. Building on the success of our Launch1000 program in 2021, this year’s program continues with the goal of enabling Westchester residents to start a business or develop an income stream for themselves and their families.
Launch1000 is an online, self-paced program that gives you the skills and knowledge to take your idea and generate a second income, a business, or a non-profit or social venture. Your results will depend on your own motivation and your own hard work. As you progress through the program, additional resources such as mentorship, valuable introductions, and additional resources, will be made available.
All County residents are eligible to apply!
New in 2022 is a Dual Language (English and Spanish) Program! We will be opening the program to 1 cohort (group). The Dual Language cohort includes:
- Program videos in English with Spanish subtitles
- Curriculum worksheets in Spanish
- Bilingual Coaches
- Weekly Online Live Workshops in English with Bilingual Coaches in attendance to assist
- Guest Speaker Online Live Sessions in English with Bilingual Coaches in attendance to assist
- Online Community Forum: English Channels For Each Phase of Journey, One Channel for all Dual Language Participants
- Online Q&A sessions in Spanish.
