AccelerateWorks - Twotalks: A History of Agile and The rise of data science

Details
Mark Ridley- "An Archaeology of Agile"
Mark takes us on a technical journey through time exploring the evolutionary history of agile methodology. We will travel from it’s humble beginnings in a few dark corners of product development, through enlightenment into the many differing strands and schools we have today and beyond.
Mark, former Group CTO here at Blenheim Chacot, is often outspoken in his support for improvements in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) education and equal opportunity in the technology industry. Mark is a regular industry speaker and writer with strong links into the UK technology press, contributing on topics ranging from strategy, innovation and Agile to the Cloud, security and risk.
Mark has also ranked 10th in Computing Magazine’s list of top 100 CTOs in the UK, been a coach at the MIT entrepreneurship online bootcamp and whilst at Reed.co.uk, kickstarted a disruptive innovation strategy with the Monday Labs technology incubator. When not playing with technology, Mark can probably be found rock climbing at the Westway, running, cycling or hunting down good coffee
