Peace. Everyone seeks peace, but it can be hard to find. There is so much suffering in the world, and we all experience suffering. We experience anger, violence, injustice, and fear. Our minds are disturbed by the pain felt by humanity and all living things. This may provoke some to create more anger, violence, injustice and fear.

The Walk for Peace is a chance to share support with others who suffer. We break the cycle, not by indifference to pain and not caring, but by seeking peace for ourselves and others. When we walk at a deliberate pace together, we connect with the world and each other. We breathe and find peace of mind.

I created Acceptance Yoga to be inclusive. If you cannot walk with us, come sit in the park and visualize walking with us. If you cannot come to the walk, think of peace wherever you are during our meeting time. Use our event as a reminder to breathe and to bring peace to your mind and cherish it and wish it for all others in the world.
