So, Are You a Fish? - ONLINE
Details
A Different Perspective on ADD, ADHD, OCD and Autism is possible.
Have you ever felt like you—or someone you love—is constantly being measured against a definition of *normal* that never quite fits?
What if the problem isn’t you?
What if you’re not wrong… just different?
This Access Consciousness class is inspired by the book *Would You Teach a Fish to Climb a Tree?* by Anne Maxwell, Gary M. Douglas, and Dr. Dain Heer. Together we’ll explore a radically different way of looking at labels like autism, OCD, ADD, and ADHD—not as deficits to be fixed, but as unique ways of perceiving and engaging with the world.
Instead of trying to force everyone into the same mold, what if we could begin to recognize and nurture the brilliance that shows up in different ways?
In this class we’ll explore practical tools, questions, and perspectives from Access Consciousness that can create more ease with kids and adults who are often labeled or misunderstood. When we shift from judgment to curiosity, something powerful happens: we begin to see capacities where we were taught to see problems.
You’ll discover ways to:
• Ask questions that open possibilities rather than shut them down
• Engage with different learning and awareness styles
• Create more ease, choice, and space for yourself and others
• Recognize the brilliance that often hides behind labels
Whether you are a parent, teacher, therapist, practitioner, or someone who has always known you see the world differently, this class is an invitation to explore another possibility.
What if autism, OCD, ADD, and ADHD are not disabilities at all—but abilities showing up in ways we haven’t learned to recognize yet?
And what becomes possible when we stop trying to teach fish to climb trees?
