Alicia St. Rose: Generating Accessible WordPress using GeneratePress Theme

Super Accessibility Champion Alicia St. Rose will enlighten one and all on the amazing properties of the GeneratePress WordPress theme.

Using examples drawn from her own beautifully accessible client websites, Alicia will illustrate the many accessibility-ready built-in features of GP and its supporting plugin, GenerateBlocks (the latter works with any WordPress theme to super-charge WordPress's now-default block editor).

Like Alicia herself, GeneratePress is already well known to possess out-of-this-world performance powers and fantastic support capabilities -- and is highly tuned to be accessible out of the box.

Alicia St. Rose is an amazing Santa Barbara, California-based designer/developer of many years, a WordPress Passionista, Dev, and Coach with a long background as a fine artist. She runs her own helpdesk-style WordPress Meetup, South Central Coast WordPress Adventure Group and is not afraid to embrace her inner geek.

Who should attend?

Our meetup is inclusive. This event is for people who love WordPress and Accessibility and want to share their knowledge, experience, and to meet other WordPress users in the area. Both experienced and beginner WordPress designers and developers are encouraged to attend and participate.
