About us

This group is for accountants and bookkeepers in the greater Seattle area (which is understood to include Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland and beyond), as well as those who are interested in finding work in the field.

We meet to talk about changes in the field, discuss new products, share tips, etc. Aside from an opportunity to socialize with others in the field, we might discuss such topics as:

* what you need to know to get a (better) job

* changes to GAAP

* the effects of new tax laws

* QuickBooks desktop versus the online version

* the pros and cons of cloud-based small-business accounting software such as Xero, Freshbooks, and Zoho.
