About the speaker: Gareth Lloyd
Gareth is a systems and performance engineer with a focus on high-performance C++ development. He has worked on a range of database code bases, including IBM TM1, Anaplan, Arithmix, and is currently working on Memgraph, an in-memory graph database. With a deep interest in low-level performance and systems architecture, he enjoys pushing hardware and software to their limits. He is also the founding organiser of the ACCU York local group, where he helps bring together the software engineering community over a range of topics.
