Taiwan Mt Hehuan Trek 10 - 13 June 2025

Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the stunning Mt Hehuan (合歡山) trek, one of Taiwan’s most accessible and rewarding high-altitude hikes! Located in the heart of the Central Mountain Range, Hehuanshan offers breathtaking panoramas, rolling ridges, and a chance to scale 4 peaks over 3,000 meters over one and a half days.

This trek is suitable for beginners to high-altitude treks as the elevation gains are manageable and the distances covered are short. As opposed to most treks in Taiwan where you need to stay in mountain lodge dormitory, we will be staying in a hot spring hotel in Lushan (廬山) town.

And as a bonus, this trek will be done during the flowering season of rhododendron (杜鵑花). The slopes of the Hehuan mountain range are covered with the pink and white blossoms!

D1: Arrive Taipei (Taoyuan Int’l Airport). Transfer to Lushan (1200m). (D)
D2: Transfer to Hehuanshan (3150m) - Trek Hehuan Main Peak (3417m/3.7km) / Mt. Shimen (3237m/1.6km) / Hehuan East Peak (3421m/2.2km). Transfer back to Lushan. (B/L/D)
D3: Transfer to Hehuanshan (3150m) - Trek Hehuan North Peak (3422m/4.8km) - Transfer to Taipei. (B/L/D)
D4: Depart Taipei. (B)
