What we’re about
This group meets on Kaurna land and we pay respects to elders past, present and future. We are a group for asexual spectrum people of all backgrounds, ages, genders and abilities who want to hang out with other aces in a friendly, casual environment. We will be holding events monthly or more, depending on demand (and pandemic permitting). Activities will cover a range of interests ranging from arts, to bushwalking, to board games, movie nights, pool, possibly day-trips, and whatever else we can think of. Suggestions for activities and offers to host are most welcome!

Membership fees contribute towards the Meetup group subscription as it is currently $320AUD per year, and the group needs to be self-supporting for the long term. I believe it is worth it to provide an easy to find, local community link for people who can otherwise feel like they are alone. At the moment, as the group is only just establishing and is likely to be small, annual membership will be $30 (running from July to July so people aren't trying to find money after christmas, school supplies time, or around "Mad March"), or $5 per event for casual members (which goes towards full membership if you continue to attend events). Payment can be made in cash at events (please bring correct change, receipts will be available), or by bank transfer. If we get bigger as a group it will be cheaper per person, so encourage Adelaide aces you know to join in! The more the merrier!
Any money that comes in over the subscription fee will be put towards reducing membership fees for the following year, or for food/drinks at an event (we can take a vote).
