May 24 Preserving the Spring Harvest – A class which will give you an basic introduction into the many different ways of preserving the spring harvest including: water bath canning, pressure canning, dehydrating, freezing, pickling, fermenting and fresh storage. The class will let you know what method is best for what vegetable or fruit. Sally Berriman, Arvada Gardeners.
6:00 p.m. outside at the garden, FREE, open to the public
Come early or stay afterwards to visit the seed library and/or get a tour of the garden. Garden opens at 5pm.
