Free Gardening Class - Preserving Your Spring Harvest

A class which will give you an basic introduction into the many different ways of preserving the spring harvest including: water bath canning, pressure canning, dehydrating, freezing, pickling, fermenting and fresh storage. The class will let you know what method is best for what vegetable or fruit. Sally Berriman AG
6:00 p.m. outside at the garden, FREE, open to the public
(inclement weather: Vance Street Flats, 5854 Vance St, 6:15pm)
You Will be notified by email through Meetup if the class is moved.
Come early or stay afterwards to visit the seed library and/or get a tour of the garden. Garden opens at 5pm.
