Free Garden Class - Mindful Gardening for All Ages

Children love plants! Some of the safest plants to have in your garden are herbs and vegetables since the most enticing parts are edible. Learn about some less recognized edible plants as well as those that bring great appeal to the senses - scents, colors, shade, textures, and the sounds of birds. Please bring a blanket to class to sit in the garden for a short mindfulness exercise at the end of class

This event is 6:00p.m. outside at the garden. FREE and open to the public.
(inclement weather: Vance Street Flats, 5854 Vance St, 6:15pm)
Come early or stay afterwards to visit the seed library and/or get a tour of the garden. Garden opens at 5pm.
