🌳 La ruta Marangu del Kilimanjaro es la ruta más directa hasta la cima. Es la ruta más conocida y la elegida por el 80% de los montañeros. Es conocida como la "ruta coca-cola" porque en el pasado se podía comprar refrescos y chocolatinas en algunos puestos de la ruta. Es la única ruta del Kilimanjaro con refugios, equipados con camas, agua corriente y luz solar, aunque no electricidad. Estos alojamientos tienen todo el equipamiento necesario pero has de llevar saco de dormir.

El Kilimanjaro es una montaña situada en el noreste de Tanzania, formada por tres volcanes inactivos: el Shira, en el oeste, de 3.962m de altitud; el Mawenzi, en el este, de 5.149m y el Kibo, entre ambos, el más reciente desde el punto de vista geológico y cuyo pico, el Uhuru, se eleva hasta los más 5.895m. Es la montaña más alta de África y la montaña independiente más alta del mundo (a unos 4.900m de altura desde su base en la meseta) y el cuarto pico ultraprominente en la Tierra.

It is the only Kilimanjaro route with shelters, equipped with beds, running water and solar light, but no electricity. These lodges have all the necessary equipment but you must carry a sleeping bag.

Kilimanjaro is a mountain located in northeastern Tanzania, formed by three dormant volcanoes: the Shira, in the west, 3,962m high, the Mawenzi, in the east, 5,149m and Kibo, between the two, the most recent from the geological point of view and whose peak, Uhuru, rises to over 5,895m. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world (at about 4,900m above sea level from its base on the plateau) and the fourth ultra-prominent peak on Earth.
