Weekday Walk: Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge

We'll meet outside the Visitor Center (which is closed due to storm damage) at 9981 Pacific Street, Prairie City, and start off with a program by a staff member about the prairie and its inhabitants. Birders, bring your binoculars! Then we'll walk through the diverse native ecosystems of the tallgrass prairie on a blacktop trail. After our morning at the refuge, we'll stop by Goldies in Prairie City for some lunch, or at least some ice cream.
