Over several decades, we have been at the center of shifting cultural norms, addressing complex challenges, and expanding upon novel ideas. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been at the fulcrum of products ranging from gas pumps and alarm clocks, to software applications and analog calculators. From this historical perspective, we have not limited what we have already applied in our lives, and should not underrecognize the significance of where our stylistic choices have already shaped our current uses of everyday AI.

Even with Large Language Models (LLMs), Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and more, we still have opportunities to continue to shape or alter the landscape of how products are a part of everyday human use. By reflecting on the core praxis of what Artificial Intelligence entails, we can use its guiding principles in creating the next generation of collective intelligence.
