Enjoy lunch and engage in discussion during our first in-person event on Tuesday, May 24th @ 12:00 pm MST hosted by Slalom. We will hear from our fellow ACMP Utah members, Aaron Bentley and Max Black as they discuss their journey in maturing change management as a capability within their organizations and as individuals.

About Aaron Bentley:
Aaron Bentley has been employed with Salt Lake City since 2001. During his career with the city Aaron has focused on government modernization through technology. He has enjoyed working with city departments and the Salt Lake City Public Library to improve their technology solutions. Over the last 20 years, Aaron has served in several positions in the city including: Network Support Administrator, Software Support Administrator, Software Support Team Manager, Chief Technology Officer and most recently as Chief Information Officer. As director, he has established IT and data governance committees, a change advisory board, and has implemented the agile methodology throughout the department with a goal on increasing communication and collaboration across Salt Lake City. Aaron’s focus is on data driven decision making, community outreach, and digital equity. He and his wife Amy enjoy their involvement in the refugee community. They have seven children.

About Max Black:
Max Black is a change management consultant in the Organizational Effectiveness Practice within Slalom Consulting, primarily being a change manager within ERP implementations. Prior to joining Slalom Consulting, he worked for Hitachi Vantara in a change management consulting role. He currently serves on the board of directors for the ACMP Utah chapter. Max received his undergraduate degree in Organizational Behavior from BYU-Idaho and his MBA from Willamette University. He currently resides in Vineyard, Utah with his wife and two children. Max has a passion for change management and the value it can have for people experiencing change, whether that change is on a personal, team/department, or organizational level.
