Food Sorting at the 2nd Harvest Food Bank

After a long hiatus due to COVID, we will return to volunteering at the 2nd Harvest Food Bank Cypress Center, from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, 11 February, 2026. Usually this involves transferring fruits or vegetable from a large bin to smaller shipping boxes. It's fun and a nice way to meet fellow volunteers from a range of groups. Actual sorting time will be about 1.5 hours.

EVERY VOLUNTEER MUST REGISTER AT Volunteer Group Registration - Page 2. referencing our group number GR-36440. Signing up on this meet-Up does not automatically register you for the event. Please register there even if you're unsure you are coming. Children 13 or over are welcome but teens 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult. Long pants and close-toed shoes are required. Wear your ACSJ T-shirt, or message me if you want me to bring one for you.
