Hey! Thanks for checking us out! If you like campfires, acoustic music, playing guitar or other instruments, shaking the maracas or just tapping your knee and singing quietly I'd be honored if you join the STL Acoustic Campfire Sessions meetup. If you do, you’re in for a fun and musical experience--and some new friends! I had a similar group in Providence RI that grew to over 1000 members…so when I recently moved to STL, I decided to start one here as well! The group is an adult group in that its made up of adults, drinking adult beverages (if you like), and having adult conversations. That said, in the future we can certainly create some kid friendly events too. The group is perfect for musicians of all levels and those who love to listen to them. So if you perform in front of others, sing in the shower, or just like hanging out...there's something for you here. So stop reading this and go grab your guitar, uke, banjo, fiddle or drum and come sing and play with us around the campfire! How it works: We go around the campfire and when its your turn you choose a song to perform or just request a song from the other musicians. you're always welcome to sing or play along with others. In case of rain the event simply moves indoors.
