Places I'll Remember Mountain Potluck

So many songs reference a specific place-- Rocky Top, Viva Las Vegas, Kansas City, I Left My Heart in San Francisco, Deep in the Heart of Texas, Please Come to Boston, New York New York. This meetup is going to be held in my personal favorite place near Bailey with a theme of "place songs." For those of you who want to make a weekend out of it, there is camping nearby at Meridian or Deer Creek Campgrounds. We will be gathering outside if the weather cooperates and will be providing some traditional picnic food--fried chicken and potato salad and drinks. You fill in the rest of the goodies. Please, please keep your RSVP up to date. It is about 70 miles from our house. Carpooling encouraged! Bring your guitar, a capo, and a couple of songs to share. Let's kick off the summer with our own music festival!
