Sing and Jam at the PCA, Westford

This long-running, weekly music jam takes place in a beautiful performance space. You do not need to sign up for the Meetup. Typically, from 15 to 25 people attend, with a core group of welcoming experienced musicians.

The jam is open to most instruments, including electric, and levels of musicianship, with a focus on easy-to-intermediate classic and modern rock and blues -- but also folk, funk, country and whatever else we want to play. Recent jams have included songs by Green Day, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, The Rolling Stones, Weezer, Della Mae, and Bowie. The goal is to have fun and play well as an ensemble!

Each week, jammers put songs on a whiteboard, and we project the music on the wall. This allows us to play a broad range of tunes and styles. We share the vocals (house mics are provided) and soloing is encouraged! Typically, we have drums and bass.
