The First Assembly — 3 Topics, Your Own Thoughts

Social media hands you your opinions pre-chewed — a take, a side, a hashtag. This is the opposite of that.
One evening, three topics, chosen by the people who show up. No panels, no lectures, no "experts." You come with whatever's actually in your head, say it out loud to real people in real time, and let it get tested, sharpened, or changed. Listening from the crowd is a completely valid way to attend — speak only if and when you want to.
How the evening runs:

1. The vote (first 10 min) — everyone submits and votes on topics; the top 3 win. Nothing is decided before you arrive.
2. Three rounds (~25 min each) — open the floor on each topic. Timed turns so no one dominates, a light hand on the tiller so it stays a conversation, not a comment section.
3. The closing circle — one sentence each: what did you leave thinking that you didn't arrive with?

No preparation, no reading list, no camera required. Just show up with your actual thoughts — the unpolished ones you'd never post.
