A Cyanotype Workshop – Where Technique, Experimentation, and Philosophy Converge
Cyanotype—An ancient photographic printing process using sunlight—becomes our medium for capturing the fleeting imprints of nature.
This Mother Earth Day, step into a realm where art and nature intertwine, guided by a cyanotype artist in collaboration with New Acropolis, School of Philosophy.
This is more than just a workshop; it’s an invitation to engage with like-minded individuals who seek art as a path to understanding life more deeply—an afternoon of learning, experimenting, and reflecting together.

Event Duration: 4 Hours

What we will cover:
- Introduction to the history and process of Cyanotype printing as well as materials used
- Hands on experience with Coating, Exposure, development and post process
- Creative explorations using natural elements
- Tips & Tricks
- Experimenting & sharing together!
What's included:
- All materials including printed Notes for your future reference
- You will create and take home 1 notebook, 3 prints, 3 gift tags and 2 bookmarks with your very own Cyanotype prints
A light lunch will be provided at the venue at cost.
Recommended for ages 16 and above. No prior experience necessary.
About Us
The event is hosted by New Acropolis, a School of Philosophy, which is run and managed completely by volunteers, who come together in the common pursuit of Philosophy as a way of Life. This workshop is part of "Wisdom of Nature! Learn, Connect, Grow", celebrating Mother Earth Day.
