Action Design NYC

Action Design NYC is the NYC chapter of the greater 10,000+ member Action Design Network. Action Design Network is a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the use of insights from behavioral economics and psychology in policy and product design.

At Action Design NYC, we are a group of behavioral scientists, designers, developers, entrepreneurs, economists, and others passionate about improving people's lives through policies, programs, services, and products that are designed based on how people actually behave. Whether the goal is to help people save money, get in shape, use less energy, or learn a new language, the idea is the same: how can we use research in behavioral economics and psychology to help users build habits and change their daily behavior for the better?

We aim to expose our members to cutting edge tools, research, and ideas by hosting bi-monthly events featuring different behavioral science researchers or practitioners in both the public and private sector. Our events range from panels to interactive workshops to casual happy hours. We would love for you to join us!
